Suzan & Aaron are Engaged!

Suzan and Aaron are finally engaged, and they plan to get married next September in North Carolina! I am so excited that I got to photograph them a few weeks ago in Springfield, one of my most favorite places to visit! It was so much fun to visit the park and the downtown area searching out fun places to shoot! Suzan and Aaron are such a unique couple, and I can’t wait to see what next September brings! Thank you both for putting up with my nerdiness, and I love that you are so in love!

{Corey+Karen=Wedded Bliss!}

Last month, I had the pleasure to photograph Karen and Corey and their families, not once, but twice! Karen and Corey were married in Vegas, and had two receptions to celebrate with their families. Karen has to be the most laid back bride I have ever met, and did I mention that killer smile? These two are so much in love, and they are both surrounded by awesome families! I feel so blessed to have met them! Congratulations, and thank you so much for letting me be a part of these events!

James & Angie got Married!

A few weeks ago I had the privilege to photograph the wedding of Angie and James. They were such a fun couple and you could definitely tell they were madly in love! They had three adorable kids, two of which proved to be very elusive to the camera. The other (the youngest of the bunch) was a total ham! That wedding was crawling (quite literally) with adorable kiddos! They were both so easy to work with, and it was so much fun photographing their special day! Thank you both for everything!

Kayte got married last May and wanted to trash her dress! We met up at a secret location (okay, a small unassuming park with a cool hidden away creek), and she totally rocked this shoot! Kayte braved the water and the heat for some stunning images with her wedding gown! The results are fabulous, and she looks so hot! Thank you so much Kayte for everything!

Jessica Got Trashed!

Tuesday was an amazing day! I had such a blast shooting with Jessica! She totally rocked it! We headed out to Cave Springs in Raytown, which proved to be an amazing location to shoot. Melissa (see previous post) came along as my assistant for the day, and she was awesome! We also had the pleasure of working with Nicole Brown, a wonderful makeup artist who gave Jessica the perfect look! Jessica braved the mud, dirt and even a crawdad to get some amazing images! Thank you girls for everything, teamwork paid off, and the photos look great!

New Model Program!

I am introducing a model program that I will run through the month of April. This is to help me build a new portfolio, as I have spent the last two years working for another photographer and haven’t shot much of my own stuff. So, if you are needing some family, senior or children’s portraits, or know anyone who needs them but may not be able to afford them, PLEASE send them my way! I would also love to work with current or aspiring models/actors to help build their books as well. In addition I will be willing to discount 1-2 wedding packages for some smaller weddings in the KC area. Just give me a call or send me an email, and I would love to talk to you about these awesome opportunities!
